Last year, more than 26,000 members of the armed services were sexually assaulted -- but only just over 3,000 cases were actually reported. With staggering numbers like those, it couldn't be more clear that something must immediately be done to protect survivors of sexual assault in the military.
Senator Warner has sponsored legislation to do just that, and he is asking for your help to make it law. This legislation has one simple objective in mind: to take common-sense steps to decrease the incredibly high rate of sexual assault in the military and to make it easier, and less dangerous, for survivors to come forward.
